Day 11 continued

Surprises continued today. Little man slept for over an hour - not quite the two hours they say he does in the baby home but a respectable nap none the less. And he woke up in a good mood!!! This was probably helped by the fact that mama laid down next to him and when he woke up she was right there smiling at him and helping him off the bed.

This afternoon he discoved the not so charming game of throw everything he can get his hands on at mama. The papers, stuffed toys, balloon and ball are not so bad but when he start whinging shoes, hairbrushes, his cell phone etc it can get pretty painful. The kid has a hell of an arm let me tell you. He's a lefty so dada is thrilled. He has dreams of a major league pitching career. But only if mam doesn't kille him for whacking her in the head with stuff first.

Aside from the chucking things we also introduced the tooth brush this afternoon. They do not brush their teeth in the baby home - yuck!!! Little man was more interested in throwing it at mama, beathing the walls, and chewing on the wrong end of it but in the end a little tooth brushing did occur. He also discovered this particular tooth brush has a suction cup on the bottom and had fun seeing what he could stick it too.

We did a little walking around outside just before our imterpreter picked us up and Ecward got some photos of him in his girly snow gear. Once we can share photos maybe I'll make an exception to my no photo rule and post one of that. When we took him back to the baby home the interpretor suggested it might be best for him to take him up so little man did not pitch a fit at my leaving. I really don't think he would. in fact I'm not convinced his fit this morning before we got there was all about us either but we agreed. According to him - little man was reluctant to go into his room and join his play group but there was no big drama.

Edward and I headed out for dinner tonight. The cafe at the hotel is nice but we have been eating there A LOT and its getting a little old. After that it was back here to the room to do some laundry in the tub. (We have not managed to find anywhere ro wash clotes and really needed some clean things, May I miss my washing machine!)

He sounds like a little heckraiser like his mom! When do you get to bring him home?

Not for about another two weeks!! I love travel and exploring new places but trying to entertain a confused two year old in a hotel room is not the way I recommend you see Russia. I'm ready to come home!!
